So he’s someone who is very deep into the show. Hurd: Scott Gimple has been in the writers’ room since season two. We’ll get to see how that plays out very quickly.ĬNN: What is showrunner Scott Gimple bringing to the new season? They’re more ravenous than ever, and there are a lot more of them. We have very much the same rules for them, but some of them are more desiccated than ever. Hurd: What hasn’t changed is they haven’t developed into super-fast walkers. We will also explore those who used to live in Woodbury.ĬNN: Will we learn new things about the nature of the walkers? We didn’t have enough bandwidth last season to spend much time getting to know him. Hurd: Some of the people are already significant characters in the comic book, people like Tyreese. We know he’s out there, and he’s not one to give up a grudge.ĬNN: With a good number of the original main characters deceased, we’re seeing the possibilities of new characters emerging, like the Woodbury survivors now living in the prison. I can’t say when we’ll find out, but we’ll find out. As to what he’s up to, as the season develops, we’ll certainly get some insights into that. No one has forgotten and forgiven what he’s done. Hurd: We definitely get a sense that he is out there. He needs to raise Carl not to be a trigger-happy child soldier, and his baby, Judith, he’s taking that responsibility very seriously.ĬNN: Last we saw the Governor, he massacred many of his followers from Woodbury and drove off to parts unknown with a few loyalists. He realizes that perhaps the most important role in the zombie apocalypse is that of a good father. This season, he’s in a very different place. But he’s always someone who will step up if necessary. Hurd: As we like to say, Rick spent a little time in “Crazytown” last season. Hurd: The survivors have essentially taken residence in the prison and realized that, at the moment anyway, that is the safest haven. Jessie is available in a 1:24 ratio, meaning that rather than being in every case, she's in every other - on the top layer, in the back right corner. The interior of her robe is just flat shapes, not a body tucked way back beneath. There is a little bit of variation in the application of the stains - not every Jessie is 100% identical, thanks to some variance in the placement and crispness of the apps.

Like we said, this series also includes her walker-bait youngest son, Sam, and it seems like a missed opportunity that their hands aren't quite posed to hold one another. Her actress, Alexandra Breckenridge, was also the maid on the first season of American Horror Story, which I only mention because HOT DAMN! Can we get Mystery Minis of that, Funko? Clearly this figure is based on Jessie's death scene, what with the guts-covered shroud and all, and she's posed with her hands held out. Jessie, on the show, has that sort of hot plainness that makes it no surprise Rick would want her from the start. It wasn't until I realized that the other figure wearing a bloody poncho in this set was her hated son Sam (hated by the audience, not by her) that it clicked for me who this was. I didn't remember Kurt Cobain being in The Walking Dead, but it would certainly explain all the blood. When I pulled this figure from the case, I didn't know who it was. ( Our protagonist, ladies and gentlemen!) Boo Shane! By contrast, when the survivors get to Alexandria, Rick became attracted to another man's wife, then tried to get rid of him so they could be together.
